I must be getting more mature. I spent the afternoon replacing a new part in the water softener. When it was all done and the water softener still didn't work, I decided to forget about it for this week and enjoy the evening. In times past this afternoon's failures would have followed me into the evening.
Eva and I didn't go out for dinner but enjoyed some pizza and then watched "Love in the Time of Cholera". I especially enjoyed the movie for two reasons. One, at times the movie seemed like a caricature of my relationship with Eva and two, the scenery was reminiscent of my two weeks in Granada, Nicaragua with granddaughter, Lindsey, in 2007.
It was a good movie for today.
